The Wine Advocate
92  The 2008 Cabernet Sauvignon comes across as very classic in its mid-weight body and flavor profile. Dark plums, herbs, cassis and tobacco are some of the aromas and flavors that emerge from this beautifully delineated, elegant Cabernet Sauvignon.... a wine that impresses for its understated finesse.Antonio Galloni, December 2011
San Francisco Chronicle - Top 100 Wines of 2012
One sniff of wine from Cathy Corison, our 2011 Winemaker of the Year, and you're instantly reminded what Cabernet truly is. The 2009 is an exceptional version, full of mineral power, with nuance from pencil lead, chicory and tobacco, and tension-filled plum fruit that perfectly frames a gorgeous vintage.Jon Bonné, San Francisco Chronicle, December 2012

"2010 Corison Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon - Cathy Corison is my heroine.  She makes such great wine - the essence of Napa Valley minus the bludgeoning force, plus a sensible price tag.  And I love the 2010s.”Jancis Robinson interviewed by Ray Isle, Wine Royalty, Food & Wine Magazine, October 2014Antonio Galloni Presents VINOUS Explore All Things Wine
93+  The 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon is drop-dead gorgeous. An intense, reticent wine, the 2010 is endowed with serious density, depth and structure. This is one of the most powerful, tightly coiled wines of the year. It will require considerable time in bottle but all the elements are in the right place. Plums, iron, cloves, violets, licorice and smoke all flesh out on the firm, structured finish. This is a fabulous wine with a great future, a superb effort from Cathy Corison.Antonio Galloni, November 2013

95  Cathy Corison’s 2011 cabernet sauvignon is her twenty-fifth harvest at her own winery, and not surprisingly the queen of Napa Valley elegance has produced a stellar wine in the cooler year of 2011. The wine is a ripe, but suave 13.7 percent and wafts from the glass in a stellar constellation of red and black cherries, a fair bit of Rutherford Dust, tobacco leaf, beautiful soil tones, a hint of eucalyptus, fresh herb tones and a very refined base of new oak. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied and very pure, a superb core of fruit, absolutely seamless balance, great focus and complexity and a very long, youthful and ripely tannic finish of impeccable focus and grip...John Gilman, Jul/Aug 2014, Issue #52

California Grapevine
93  Medium-dark purplish ruby; attractive, deep, complex, blueberry and blackberry fruit aroma with a note of cassis and hints of dried herbs and vanilla; full body; rich, ripe, textured, well balanced, currant and dark berry fruit flavors with good depth and an expansive, velvety mouthfeel; medium-full to full tannin; lingering aftertaste. Approachable and appealing now, though deserving another five more years of bottle aging. Very highly recommended.Volume 41, June 2015

Decanter Magazine:  Californian Cabernet 2013: Top five wines of the vintage
96 Beautifully perfumed aromas of rose petal, violets, blackberry, dark chocolate and incipient cigar tobacco burst from the glass in a striking array, the prelude to a wine that’s structured around refined, savoury tannins and juicy acidity. An ethereal and classically proportioned Cabernet which will age effortlessly thanks to its flawless balance, likely putting on weight with bottle age. Terrific stuff; not to be missed.2016 California Wine Guide
